Job Title: School Age Group Assistant (min 16 years old) Lead Staff (min 18 years old) 

Location: North Adams Brayton School

Hours: Part-time, Monday-Friday, before 6:30am -8:30am and / or after-school hours 3:00pm - 5:30pm 

Salary: $15-$18 per hour, based on experience  

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a School Age Group Lead Staff at North Adams Brayton School. The School Age Group Lead Staff will be responsible for leading and coordinating activities for school-aged children in an after-school program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for school-aged children
- Supervise and interact with children in a positive and engaging manner
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all children
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff members
- Assist with snack preparation and distribution
- Maintain a clean and organized program space
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a group setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
